Terms of use

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Browsing veritynational.com, the web home of Verity National, an archival supplies business in York, England, means agreeing to the conditions on this page.

Purpose of this website

Here we list our storage goods with their sizes, materials and prices, and offer a form for asking to buy them. A sent form is an order request only; it binds neither side until we confirm the order by e-mail and you complete payment through the secure link we send. We may decline an order, for instance if an item is out of stock, and will tell you why.

Prices and descriptions

Prices are in pounds sterling. We take care that every size and material is stated correctly; if we find an error before dispatch we will tell you and you may cancel without charge.

Terms · use and ownership

Acceptable use

Nobody may use these pages to pass on abusive, unlawful or deceptive content, to probe their security, or to place a request under another person's name. Please do not post us original documents or photographs; we cannot accept or return them.

Who owns the content

Wording, page design, line drawings and icons here are Verity National's own. Each photograph appears by the licence shown in the credits further down. Printing or saving a page for private reference is welcome; wider reuse needs our agreement in writing.

Limits of liability

The storage guidance here is general, given in good faith for household use. It is not a substitute for a trained conservator's judgement on a particular object, and we are not liable for loss arising from relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. English and Welsh law governs these conditions and anything arising from them, and the courts of England and Wales settle any disagreement.
